Maren Yearly is one of my favorite characters! I love her outfits and the personality she has throughout the movie. I like how unpredictable and awkward she is. She is quiet but very curious and despite being blocked out from life, she steps right into it. Her bravery is really inspiring! Her connection with Lee brings out the human in her as it does him. As an 18 year old who is learning to navigate the world, I felt really conected to Maren.

Maren's hairstyle was inspired by Stacy Hubka in The Silence of the Lambs!
On Maren's birth certificate it shows she was born in Menomonie, Wisconsin. That state beingthe homes of Jeffery Dahmer and Ed Gein.
